Embark Studios has finally announced when their highly anticipated winter update will arrive, and the surprise is that it will come much sooner than the community imagined. Cold Snap arrives on December 16th: snowy maps, temporary event, and new arsenal

The date is now official: Cold Snap will be available on December 16th, 2025. This update will introduce a temporary event centered around snowy versions of several game maps, an environment that completely changes the pace and usual routes of the extraction shooter.
