And it’s that FIFA 23 servers will stop working in December 2025, which means you have six months to get all the Xbox achievements you need from the football simulator before they disappear forever. The news was announced on the EA online services page, where it was confirmed that the FIFA 23 servers for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One will close on December 12, 2025.
Goodbye to FIFA 23 achievements
This means that after this date, all online modes of FIFA 23 will stop working and Xbox achievements linked to online game modes will not be unlocked. Specifically, a total of 23 FIFA 23 achievements will be discontinued once the servers go dark, all of them linked to the Volta, Pro Clubs and FIFA Ultimate Team modes of FIFA 23. In the Xbox One version, 22 achievements will be discontinued, as “On the way up” and “Transcendent” were already out of game (yes, it’s a play on words).
The achievement “On the way up” was also already cancelled in the Series version, and the “Transcendent” achievement is also almost impossible to get, unless you already have these two, you won’t be able to complete it 100%. Plus, FIFA 23 has already been removed from the Microsoft Store, so if you want to play it, you’ll have to get a physical copy.
Active users of the game will have to hurry up if they want to unlock online achievements before the server closure.
