The most notable new feature is full compatibility with the DualSense Edge on PC, allowing players to take advantage of all the advanced features of the PlayStation 5 controller, including adaptive triggers, haptic vibration, and profile customization. This improvement is especially geared towards those who prefer playing on PC with this type of controller.
Improvements, fixes, and balance in Silksong
The update also includes improvements for controllers on macOS, automatic pause when disconnecting the controller, and a long list of bug fixes that affected controllers from different manufacturers.
Additionally, issues related to progression, Hornet’s abilities, and upgrade management have been fixed, which in some situations could block progress or cause abnormal behavior.
In terms of the game’s overall balance, Team Cherry has applied a slight increase to the damage of certain thrown objects and a reduction in the power of some Needle abilities in advanced stages, aiming for a more stable pace in combat and a more balanced progression for all players.
