This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Sometimes, due to scheduling or specific versions, some releases are left out of the initial list. In this case, we’re talking about two very different additions, designed for both strategy fans and those seeking more demanding console experiences.
Two extra games joining Xbox Game Pass in February
- The first one is Menace, a new tactical strategy game that will arrive on February 5th in Game Preview for PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Its proposal combines turn-based combat with a more classic wargame approach, making it a very interesting option for those who enjoy XCOM-style titles. For now, it’s not confirmed whether it will include achievements in its initial release.
- The second case is Death Howl, which will finally make the jump to Xbox Series on February 19th, after previously being released on PC. This title mixes deck-building with demanding combat and constant tactical decisions, and will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers from day one on console.
With these two additions, February is shaping up to have more games than initially expected, strengthening an already impressive first half of the month for the service. And everything points to there being even more announcements when the next wave is presented, expected mid-month.
At Generación Xbox, we’ll be sharing all the latest Game Pass news as it’s confirmed, because February is proving that it still has a few tricks up its sleeve.
