Activision disables 10 Call of Duty for maintenance today: complete list and worldwide times

Activision has announced a technical stoppage that will affect a dozen classic Call of Duty titles. The maintenance is scheduled for July 2nd, 2025, and during this period, it will not be possible to log in to the affected games. The confirmed schedule is from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM Pacific Time, which is equivalent to 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Spain and 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM in Mexico City.

The company has not clearly specified what changes will be applied or if there will be visible improvements after the intervention. Unlike other recent patches focused on Black Ops 6, this maintenance is exclusively focused on older titles.

Call of Duty games affected by the maintenance

During the indicated hours, these titles will be completely offline:

1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

3. Call of Duty: WWII

4. Call of Duty: Black Ops III

5. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

6. Call of Duty: Ghosts

7. Call of Duty: Black Ops II

8. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011 version)

9. Call of Duty: Black Ops

10. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009 version)

Although these games are already several years old, they still have active communities, especially on Xbox consoles, where backwards compatibility has facilitated their continued play. It has not been reported whether this maintenance will involve internal changes, security updates, or simply routine tasks.

Although Activision has not detailed the exact reason for the maintenance, some players speculate that it could be related to anti-cheat adjustments or even a possible future integration into Xbox Game Pass, as several of these titles have been rumored to be part of the service’s retro catalog expansion.
