The user, who shared his experience on the forum, claims that he only bought one unit of the ROG Xbox Ally X… but when he received the order, he found three consoles in the box.
I have to say that they contacted me super quickly. They’re sending me a QR code so I can return two of them. How funny! Now I understand why they sold out so fast. Haha. It’s called a Master Box. I had never heard of a Master Box before. I got 3 Ally X for the price of 1!”, he commented with laughter.
The “Master Box” behind the error that confused ROG Xbox Ally X buyers
According to him, the error occurred due to a grouped shipment in what the distributor called a “Master Box”, a packaging format that contains several units of the same product. It seems that the confusion originated when preparing his order, sending him a complete package instead of a single unit.
