The countdown to GTA 6 pre-orders, as you all know, is about to end. With June 25th marked on the calendar, more and more information is emerging to shed light on how the game’s launch will unfold and what options players will have to get their hands on it.
Although Rockstar has not yet officially confirmed the different versions that will hit stores, several leaks suggest that the company will adopt a strategy similar to what we’ve seen in other major releases, with multiple editions, both physical and digital.
These are the expected GTA 6 editions for launch
According to the latest information shared by various insiders, Grand Theft Auto VI will have several versions available from day one.
Among them are:
- Standard Edition
- Deluxe Edition
- Premium or Ultimate Edition
- Collector’s Edition with exclusive physical items
Additionally, there’s also talk of a special limited edition with collectible items aimed at the most enthusiastic fans.
Leaks also point to the existence of promotional bundles with consoles, although these would include a digital code instead of a physical game copy, following the current market trend. For now, no similar promotions have been mentioned for Xbox, although additional commercial agreements can’t be ruled out later on.
Another aspect generating a lot of interest is the possible early access. Some sources claim that certain editions might offer a few days of gameplay before the official launch, although we doubt this will happen with this type of release. Additionally, it’s still unclear whether this benefit would apply to the full game or only the future online component.
Of course, all this information should be treated with caution until Rockstar officially reveals all the details. However, with pre-orders starting on June 25th and the promotional machine running at full speed, it shouldn’t be long before we know exactly how we can get our hands on one of the most anticipated releases of the decade.
