We’re making our way through 2026, a year that promises to be one of the biggest and most intense in the gaming industry, with a slew of important releases lined up throughout the months. We’ve already seen some exciting launches recently, such as Marathon and Resident Evil: Requiem.

As we get closer to summer, we’re seeing even more significant game releases, with a lot of hype surrounding them. Directive 8020 is one of the most recent examples.

Directive 8020 Has Landed on Xbox Series X/S

This title is the latest project from Supermassive Games, part of their popular horror series. It was initially set to launch in October 2025 but unfortunately suffered a delay until 2026, with no specific release date in sight. However, that changed at the beginning of the year.

Despite the setbacks, it seems that the development of Directive 8020 has been progressing at a good pace, and it has officially arrived on Xbox Series X/S today, prompting the release of its intense launch trailer to prepare the ground.

Directive 8020 looks incredibly promising, and we hope this new horror adventure will be just as successful, if not more so, than its predecessors. We’ll be keeping a close eye on it.
