Xbox Game Pass is shaping up to have one of the most exciting months of the year. Although there are still official announcements to come from Microsoft, there are already three confirmed games for May 2026 that hint at the level of quality the service can achieve in the coming weeks.

There’s something for every taste, but above all, there’s a clear feeling: all eyes are on the return of one of Xbox’s most beloved franchises. The anticipation for Forza Horizon 6 is real, and it’s no surprise after the previous installment. The desire to get behind the wheel of Forza Horizon 6 is palpable, and for good reason.

The three most important games of May on Xbox Game Pass (so far)

• Mixtape — May 7th – Available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass

An adventure centered around three friends on their last night together. Through memories and personal moments, the game blends exploration, music, and distinct situations, with a soundtrack loaded with recognizable tracks.

• Call of the Elder Gods — May 12th – Available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass

The sequel to the acclaimed Call of the Sea, this installment bets on more complex puzzles and a classic horror-inspired atmosphere. Alternating between two protagonists, the game proposes solving mysteries across different scenarios and eras.

• Forza Horizon 6 — May 19th – Available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass

The big release of the month. The new installment from Playground Games takes us to Japan with a larger, more varied world and hundreds of vehicles available. Additionally, it will feature early access from May 15th for those who opt for the premium edition.

With these three titles already confirmed, May is shaping up to be a solid month. And considering the usual pace of announcements, it’s likely that there are still several surprises to come in the next few days.
