Everything points to Bethesda sharing official news throughout March for Starfield, and rumors are directly talking about a new expansion accompanied by substantial improvements in several areas of the game.
Although there is no formal announcement from the studio yet, different sources suggest that the content could be ready to launch around April 7th, always within unconfirmed territory. What does seem clear is that the team would be preparing an ambitious update.
Starfield Prepares Expansion, Technical Improvements, and Changes in Exploration
Among the most repeated rumors, a possible expansion focused on the “Terran Armada” stands out, which would take us back to Earth within a new storyline. Additionally, there is talk of new types of enemies, expanding the variety of encounters and combat.
In the playable area, the improvements would be extensive:
-
Improved space exploration and combat
-
New ships and fleet mechanics
-
A deeper ship-building system
-
Creation Engine updates
-
Reduced loading screens
-
Clearer maps
-
Better integration of points of interest within a revised exploration
-
Pending bug fixes
If all this is confirmed, we would be facing one of the largest content and adjustment packages since the game’s launch. March should clear up our doubts, and April could mark the beginning of a new era for the Starfield universe.
