Today’s the day. Resident Evil Requiem is now available to play on Xbox Series, marking the return of the saga with a release that has left no one indifferent. After weeks of anticipation, the new Capcom title is now available for download from the Xbox Store, as well as for those who purchased it in physical format.
Players who pre-ordered the digital version can access it as soon as the launch is activated in their region, while the rest can now purchase it and start their game on console.
Resident Evil Requiem debuts on Xbox with a 95 on Generation Xbox
In our review on Generation Xbox, we have given it a score of 95 out of 100, placing it as one of the best games in the entire saga. We particularly highlight its technical aspect on Xbox Series, with 4K and 60 FPS stable on Series X, and solid performance on Series S with upscaled resolution and constant framerate, as we have told you in our first technical impressions.
The new installment combines exploration, sustained tension, and demanding combat with a staging that raises the bar within modern survival horror.
If you were waiting for a signal to jump in, you now have it: Resident Evil Requiem is now available on Xbox Series, and at least for us, it’s one of the great references of the franchise.
