Spectacular: Warzone arrives in Halo Infinite thanks to the Forge map editor

We’re making our way through February, and with it, we’re getting closer to the upcoming big releases and news that this year has in store for us, which promises to be one of the most exciting and action-packed years in recent memory when it comes to major video games.

We’re also expecting to see a wave of new content for titles that have been on the market for a while and are looking to stay alive in the coming months thanks to new updates and expansions packed with new features, although some games will still have active servers even if they won’t be receiving new official content, such as Halo Infinite.

Players continue to add content to Halo Infinite

This title has continued to receive updates and new content since its release in late 2021 on PC and Xbox consoles, at least until the end of last year when support for new content ended as the studio shifted its focus to Halo Campaign Evolved and other projects.

Luckily, the active community often steps in to breathe new life into games that have been left behind, and Halo Infinite is no exception, as a Warzone mode, which was present in Halo 5 Guardians and has been missed in this installment, has been developed over the past two years, returning with a well-crafted recreation of maps and gameplay for this frenetic large-team mode.

It’s a shame that Halo Infinite’s life cycle of support and new content has come to an end sooner than planned by Halo Studios, but seeing the player community continue on the path, at least until the next multiplayer installment, demonstrates the enthusiasm for keeping favorite modes from past games alive.
