Xbox Game Pass confirms 4 losses by the end of February: these games are leaving the service

Microsoft has already updated the list of titles that will be leaving the catalog on February 28.

The Xbox Game Pass catalog is about to get a shake-up in the coming days. Microsoft has officially confirmed the games that will be leaving the service at the end of February 2026, giving subscribers a limited window to finish them or take advantage of the exclusive discount before they’re gone.

In total, four titles will be leaving the catalog on February 28th, currently available on Cloud, console, and PC. If you’ve got them on your to-play list, you still have time to plan your next gaming sessions.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on February 28th

Here are the titles that will be departing the service:

• Injustice 2 (Cloud, console, and PC)

• Middle-earth: Shadow of War (Cloud, console, and PC)

• Expeditions: A MudRunner Game (Cloud, console, and PC)

• Monster Train (Cloud, console, and PC)

The most notable departures are Injustice 2 and Middle-earth: Shadow of War, two Warner Bros. productions that have been available on the service for quite some time. If you were making progress in their campaigns or additional modes, now’s the time to give them a final push.

• As is customary, subscribers can purchase these games with up to 20% off before they leave the catalog, ensuring permanent access in their digital library.

With these four departures, February has already seen several games leave the service, although the impact is moderate compared to other months. Additionally, next Tuesday, February 17th, we can expect the official announcement of the games arriving in the second half of the month, so we’ll soon find out which titles will be taking the reins in Xbox Game Pass.
