We’re making our way through February, and with it, we’re getting closer to the upcoming big releases and news that this year promises to bring, being one of the most exciting and eventful years in recent memory when it comes to major video games.
We’re also expecting to see a wave of new content for titles that have been on the market for a while, not to mention the possibility of some surprise re-releases in the coming months, something that happened recently with the original Dino Crisis 1 and 2 from Capcom.
Dino Crisis is back officially on Steam
These games were released in the final stage of the original PlayStation console from Sony, becoming two classic hits alongside the first Resident Evil, being one of the best times for their creators.
Fans have been asking for a remake of these games for years, something that seems unlikely at this point, but against all odds, we’ve just seen a native version for Windows 11 arrive on Steam just when there’s a discount on the entire catalog of the developer.
On the downside of this great news, it’s worth mentioning that Dino Crisis 1 and 2 on PC have been released with the Enigma DRM, which has caused performance, optimization, and serious crashing issues, so there are already complaints about it.

Dino Crisis 1 and 2 were two iconic titles on the original PlayStation, and it’s great to see them back and be able to play them without having to resort to piracy and emulators.
