A year after its official presentation, Blades of Fire is preparing to return to the scene with a major update. MercurySteam has confirmed that the game will receive its long-awaited version 2.0 on May 14th, a free revision that promises to introduce numerous improvements and new features.
The announcement was made through Steam and marks the return of the title to Valve’s platform with a revamp aimed at relaunching this dark fantasy published by 505 Games.
Blades of Fire 2.0 will arrive on May 14th as a free update
The version 2.0 of Blades of Fire will be available for free on May 14th for all players on Steam. Although the studio has not yet detailed all the changes, it has been announced that it will include substantial improvements and additional content, with the goal of revitalizing the original experience.
To accompany this announcement, MercurySteam has launched a special demo coinciding with the Steam Next Fest, designed to offer several hours of gameplay and allow players to try out some of the main features before the final release of the update.
Considered by many as the spiritual successor to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Blades of Fire bets on intense combat, dark atmosphere, and a design centered on direct action. With this version 2.0, the Spanish studio aims to give a new boost to its project and attract both new players and those who want to return to discover everything that changes in May.
