We’ve missed them, and after several weeks of absence, the free Xbox games for the weekend are back, with some varied proposals that we can download to play without paying. The Xbox free play days promotion starts today, January 15th, and will run until next Monday, January 19th.

During these days, we’ll be able to download and play each and every one of them, and the best part is that if we decide to purchase any of them after the free trial period, we’ll get a special discount. Remember, your progress and game saves will be kept, so you won’t have to start from scratch.

Free Play Days for everyone (no subscription required)

These titles can be played without needing an Xbox Game Pass, simply by downloading them from the Store:

• EA SPORTS FC 26
  Available on Xbox One and Xbox Series, with access to quick matches, Clubs Rush 5v5, and live events.
• EA SPORTS Madden NFL 26
  Free trial with access to full gameplay optimized for Xbox Series.
• EA SPORTS College Football 26
  Free trial of the new chapter in college football, with player and coach modes.
• NHL 26
  Available on Xbox Series, with revamped game modes and a more realistic focus.

Free Play Days with Xbox Game Pass required

These games require an active Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate subscription to play during the event:

• F1 25
  Trial access to the official 2025 season title, with a revamped My Team and Braking Point.
• UFC 5
  Full combat with advanced damage system and dynamic medical stops.
• EA SPORTS PGA TOUR
  Access to the official golf simulator, optimized for Xbox Series.

In addition to being able to play them for free during the Free Play Days, all titles have temporary discounts on the Xbox Store, some of which are quite aggressive. It’s a great opportunity to try them out and decide later if they’re worth adding to your library.
