The New Game Plus Showcase 2026 has celebrated its first edition with over three hours of presentations and has left a good number of announcements related to the Xbox ecosystem. Among them, five titles confirmed for Xbox Game Pass, combining projects from Xbox Game Studios with exclusive advances from external studios.

The selection mixes games already available that will receive important updates with new releases that will arrive directly to the subscription service throughout 2026.

• Avowed
  The RPG from Obsidian was once again the protagonist thanks to its release on PS5 on February 17th and an anniversary update that will arrive on the same day on all platforms. It will include, among other novelties, New Game Plus, new content options, and general improvements.

• Grounded 2
  The team shared an interview with the developers and confirmed that the game will receive a major free update, with no specific date, expanding its cooperative survival experience.

• Towerborne
  Its full release on February 26th, 2026 was confirmed, leaving behind early access and opting for a single-purchase model, with no aggressive monetization or pay-to-win systems.

External Studios Games

• Aphelion
  A science fiction adventure developed by DON’T NOD, which will arrive on Xbox Game Pass in 2026. The event showed an exclusive preview focused on exploration, stealth, and survival on a frozen planet.

• Denshattack!
  A frantic and stylized title, with clear influences from Jet Set Radio and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, which will also be released on Xbox Game Pass in 2026.
