With the arrival of 2026, it’s worth remembering a news story that was confirmed months ago and is now entering its final stretch. Project CARS 3 will definitively shut down its online servers on February 24, 2026, putting an end to all of the game’s multiplayer features.
This decision is not new. It was officially announced in August 2025, coinciding with the game’s removal from digital stores. However, as the new year begins, many players are once again wondering how much time is left to enjoy the game’s online features, and the answer is clear: just over a month.
Project Cars 3 Server Shutdown
Until February 24, all connected content will continue to function normally. This includes online races, multiplayer competitions, and any mode that relies on the official servers. From that date on, the online component will be permanently unavailable.
- However, the shutdown will not affect offline content. Individual races, championships, and the rest of the single-player modes will remain fully playable as long as you have the game installed on your console or PC. In that sense, Project CARS 3 will not become unusable, but it will be limited to solo play.
This reminder is especially relevant for those who still have the game pending or want to take advantage of its final weeks online. With the title already removed from digital sale since summer, the time to enjoy its competitive multiplayer is clearly running out.
