The collectibles market is once again focusing on the Ubisoft saga. A special edition of Assassin’s Creed 3 is seeing its value skyrocket in the second-hand market, to the point of easily surpassing 300 euros on some resale platforms.

The specific case is that of Assassin’s Creed III Remastered – Signature Edition, a version that went largely unnoticed at the time, but has become a true rarity over time.
A very limited and exclusive edition
The Signature Edition was released as a Ubisoft Store exclusive and was available for a very short period. It sold out quickly and was never restocked, which has led to there being very few units in circulation today, especially in new and sealed condition.
In terms of content, this edition did not include significant playable extras. Its appeal lies in:
-
An exclusive steelbook
-
Two official lithographs
-
The complete game in its remastered version
There are no exclusive DLCs or additional content that can’t be found in other editions, which makes it clear that its current value is purely collectible.
Over 300 euros for a sealed copy
At the moment, new and unopened copies of this edition are being sold for prices ranging from 330-350 euros, especially in PlayStation 4 versions. Used units lower the price slightly, but still remain well above the usual for a relatively recent game.
Everything suggests that we are facing a classic case of revaluation due to scarcity, and it wouldn’t be surprising if, over time, prices continue to rise if no new units appear on the market. For Assassin’s Creed fans and physical collectibles enthusiasts, this edition has already become one of the most coveted in the saga.
