In ARC Raiders, survival doesn’t just depend on your gear or the damage you can deal. The way you navigate the map, manage your stamina, and decide when to reposition is what really separates a good raid from an unnecessary loss of loot.

After many hours of playing and testing different configurations, at Generación Xbox we have it clear: not all movement abilities offer the same return on investment, and it’s worth thinking carefully before spending points that are hard to recover.
The movement abilities we recommend prioritizing in ARC Raiders
If your goal is to survive longer and extract more regularly, these are the upgrades that are worth investing in:
-
Sprint and stamina management: increasing the duration of your sprint and reducing its cost has a direct impact on every match. It allows you to cross open areas with less risk, escape from encounters that go sour, and reposition yourself better against enemies or mechanical threats.
-
Constant mobility, not just bursts: any ability that improves your ability to move consistently adds value to every raid, regardless of the map or mission type.
Abilities that aren’t worth maxing out
Not everything that sounds good in the skill tree pays off in practice:
-
Advanced sliding: while it slightly improves agility, taking this ability to its maximum level doesn’t offer a significant enough boost to justify spending five whole points.
-
Very situational upgrades: if an ability only shines in specific moments, it’s better to leave it at low levels or ignore it until you’ve covered the rest of the tree.
In ARC Raiders, moving better is always more important than moving in a flashy way. Prioritize stamina, sprint, and control of the match’s pace before investing in flashy but non-essential abilities. Making it out alive to the extraction point is still the best strategy possible.
