It is a very personal selection, but do not let yourself be deceived, since there are many games that are not lost.

One of the things I love about Xbox is the constant stream of games that just keep coming. This year has been no exception: we’ve received a plethora of excellent games in every sense, and by that, I mean I’ve had an absolute blast.
A few days ago, I shared with you the games I’ve reviewed, and I must say, it’s been a fantastic experience. If you’re interested, you can read all about it in this link. Now, I’m excited to share something very interesting related to the Xbox service.
These are the best releases I’ve played on Xbox Game Pass in 2025
Today, I’m coming at you with everything I’ve got, courtesy of Xbox Game Pass throughout 2025. I’m going to give you the lowdown on the best releases I’ve had the chance to play this year, which is a bit different from the ones I’ve reviewed and shared with you a few days ago. So, let’s dive into the amazing games I’ve tried:
1- Ninja Gaiden 4
I have to admit, it’s been one of the best experiences I’ve had this year, and although I’m not a hardcore player of this genre, I couldn’t deny that it’s been an absolute thrill ride. The visuals and gameplay are a treat, offering the best of this saga; it’s an absolute MUST-PLAY in capital letters.

2- DOOM: The Dark Ages
The legendary demon hunter is back, and this time, it’s bigger and better than ever. Although it may not feel like a significant improvement over Eternal, considering it’s on a less powerful platform, it still packs a punch. With new mechanics that make you feel all-powerful, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.

3- Ninja Gaiden 2 Black
Ryu Hayabusa’s return is nothing short of spectacular, and it was an impressive way to celebrate the year of the Ninja, with so many games from the series, especially this one, which blew me away with how well it was made. This was just the beginning of my anticipation for the fourth installment and my eagerness to continue the story.

4- Keeper
A game with a lighthouse as the protagonist might not sound like the most exciting thing, but don’t be fooled. It’s a title with a special charm, one of those games that you just can’t put down, and as you progress, you discover a beautiful story with a great message. Plus, the art style is a visual delight; it’s a must-play.

5- South of Midnight
Compulsion Games surprised us with this masterpiece, which is a breath of fresh air in every aspect. Although it’s a bit short, it’s well-crafted in every way, with a beautiful artistic touch and balanced gameplay. This is a game you won’t want to miss.
Special mention for Marvel Cosmic Invasion
A game that I love, which arrived during the holiday season, offering a more direct experience, packed with action, superheroes, and variety. Without a doubt, it’s one of those end-of-year games that will captivate you.
This list, as I’ve always mentioned, is quite personal, and although all of these games are amazing, the order represents my preferences for 2025, which might not align with yours. However, they’ll definitely provide you with a lot of fun if you decide to try some of them out. As always, stay tuned with Generación Xbox.
