Microsoft Rewards Christmas promotion returns: double points for a limited time

Microsoft has reactivated one of the most popular promotions from Microsoft Rewards just in time for the holiday season. As has happened in the past, the company is once again doubling the daily point limit for searches, this time from December 15 to December 31, 2025, making it the perfect opportunity to rack up more points before the year ends.

The promotion is already live and works exactly like it has in previous editions, although it requires an important step to ensure the extra points are counted correctly.

How the Microsoft Rewards Holiday Promotion Works

During the promotional period, the daily search limit on Bing is doubled, on both PC and mobile. The points earned per search depend on your current Rewards account level, but the daily cap is temporarily increased.

To participate, you must:

• Manually activate the offer from the Microsoft Rewards panel in a browser.

• You may also see it in official Rewards emails or promotional banners.

• Once activated, searches made during the promotional period will automatically earn extra points.

Microsoft clarifies that this is a limited-time offer, subject to change or cancellation, and will only be available during the specified dates.

Markets Excluded from the Promotion

Not all countries can take advantage of this promotion. According to official information, the following markets are excluded:

• India

• Colombia

• New Zealand

• Mexico

In all other compatible regions, the offer can be activated without additional restrictions.

For those who regularly use Microsoft Rewards (whether to redeem Xbox Game Pass months, gift cards, or digital content), this holiday promotion is one of the most interesting of the year.
