The week kicks off with an update that many players were eagerly waiting for to close out the year with something special. Epic Games has chosen this Monday, December 8, to officially unveil the return of Fortnite’s most classic spirit, accompanied by a layer of snow that completely transforms the experience.

The studio had been hinting for days that the community would have news related to the OG era and winter, but the confirmation has gone even further. There are changes to the map, the return of iconic vehicles, legendary weapons, and a trio of remastered skins that arrive with direct nods to the game’s initial era.

The new season rescues the essence of that time by recovering the frozen atmosphere, classic points of interest, and an arsenal that many remembered with nostalgia:

• Silenced sniper rifle

• Revolver with scope

• Dual pistols

• Assault rifle with scope

• Inflatable balloons

• Stink bombs

• Boom Box (destructive sound box)

• Glider deployment

Epic has also confirmed the return of the X-4 Stormwing, the planes that revolutionized mobility several seasons ago. Even the Infinity Blade will return later in the season, this time with adjustments to avoid imbalances.

In terms of visuals, the pass includes three renovated skins: an updated version of the classic Santa Claus, a redesigned warrior in pajamas, and a new variant of Lynx. All set against a snowy backdrop that recovers mythical areas like Polar Peak, Happy Hamlet, and Frosty Flights.

Additionally, those who achieve a victory during the season will be able to unlock a new exclusive umbrella, available for free. A trip back in time with a Christmas twist that promises to become one of the most special moments for the community in this final stretch of 2025.
