We’ve already entered December, the last month of this eventful year filled with major releases that have shaken the video game industry like never before, with authentic successes like Expedition 33 or the recent arrival of Silksong on PC and consoles after so many years since its announcement.
Despite everything, we’ve started the month with a lot of strength, with content for already released titles or some re-releases of highly valued games, putting Guild Wars Reforged as one of the most recent examples.
Guild Wars Reforged doesn’t make you pay monthly
This title was released many years ago, becoming a worthy rival to titans like World of Warcraft from Blizzard, which remains active.
Guild Wars Reforged is the resurgence of this title with improved technology and well-prepared to run on current PC and being compatible with Steam Deck and controllers like the Xbox Series, as can be seen in the launch trailer published on the official YouTube channel.
- Free for Guild Wars players!
- New package at a low price for new players, including Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall.
- Steam Deck verification (pending).
- Compatibility with XInput controllers (like the Xbox wireless controller). New mission tracking and direction system.
- On-screen control guide.
- Improved UI with HD skill icons, larger text options, and quality of life improvements.
- Compatibility with high-resolution screens.
- New improvements in ambient occlusion, HD bloom, and anti-aliasing rendering.
- Redesigned audio system with ambient effects (no hardware compatibility required).
Guild Wars Reforged is a genius move in a time when most MMOs die shortly after launch, and we hope this re-release will remain strong on PC while its second installment continues to receive content.
