2XKO is coming to Xbox Series in January 2026
Riot’s team has confirmed that 2XKO will arrive on Xbox Series and PS5 in January 2026, maintaining the same free-to-play model seen on PC. Although there’s no specific release date yet, the company has accompanied the announcement with a new video that showcases the game’s development status and promises to share more details later.
In this installment, Runeterra’s most iconic champions adopt a 2v2 combat style, with adapted move sets and meticulously designed arenas. The confirmed characters include Ahri, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Yasuo, Jinx, Braum, Vi, Blitzcrank, Teemo, and Warwick, each with their own unique approach to combat.
The game’s arrival on consoles promises to expand the community from day one, especially considering its free distribution. It’s going to be a strong start to the year for those waiting for new fighting game proposals on Xbox.
