The Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown community has been pushing for a specific idea for months: more life inside the player’s home. Although the team is still working on the major house update that will arrive with Season 8, KT Racing has confirmed that one of those features won’t have to wait that long.

In the next update, players will be able to interact with furniture directly in the open world, a novelty that opens the door to a much more dynamic relationship with the game’s properties. Until now, houses were a static customization point, but soon they will allow for a more natural and immersive experience.

Interacting with furniture in the open world: the first step towards something bigger

The interesting thing is that this addition doesn’t come alone. The studio assures that they have “many more surprises in store” related to what we can do inside the house, which suggests that properties are going to become a much deeper element within the Solar Crown experience.

A small move on paper, but one that directly reinforces the social and role-playing identity of Solar Crown as it heads into its next season.

Lifestyle, customization, and a sense of belonging have always been fundamental pillars of the Test Drive Unlimited saga, so this feature fits with what fans have been asking for since the project was first announced. The update doesn’t have an exact release date, but the team promises to share more details soon.
