We’re already approaching the entrance to 2026, and we can consider the year largely over in terms of video games and the most anticipated releases. Now, all that’s left is to wait for the last major event, which will take place early next month.
There’s no doubt that a large number of new games have been released, although we’ve also had a huge amount of new content for games that have been on the market for a long time and are still active. A clear example of this is the Halo saga, which remains very much alive on PC and consoles with Infinite and the Master Chief Collection.
Halo 4 gets a classic twist with Genesong Cut
Following the announcement of the remake of the first installment, the studio has confirmed that all its developers are moving on to new projects. As a result, Halo Infinite is releasing its final content update today.
The Master Chief Collection isn’t receiving any new official content, so all the latest updates usually come from fan-created mods, like the one we’re showing you today, called “Genesong Cut,” which aims to give Halo 4 a more classic feel. It changes the appearance of weapons, abilities, and even Master Chief’s armor in the campaign, which can be seen in the gameplay published on YouTube, which we’ve included below.
It’s great to see that many fans continue to share their vision and showcase incredible creativity in their favorite games.
