In recent days, Xbox users have started to notice strange behavior in the console’s online services. Slower downloads, videos that take a long time to play in the official app, and irregular response times are the symptoms that are most repeated, especially among European players. And although there’s always doubt about individual connections, many claim to have checked that everything works correctly on other platforms.
The issue has been growing in forums and social media, where more and more people are wondering if there’s a specific problem with Microsoft’s servers or if we’re facing an internal adjustment that hasn’t been officially communicated yet.
European players detect performance issues in Xbox services
Comments coincide on two very specific points:
-
Videos within the Xbox app take much longer to load.
- Interface images take a long time to load and often remain blank.
-
Downloads don’t reach their usual speeds, even with stable fiber connections.
So far, Microsoft hasn’t announced any global incidents or maintenance tasks that could explain this behavior. This has led a large part of the community to wonder if there’s saturation, regional problems, or internal changes that haven’t been reflected on the service status page yet.
It’s also possible that some recent system optimizations (such as the latest updates to the interface or Game Hub) may be temporarily affecting performance in certain territories.
