The return of musical instruments to video games continues to gain momentum, and now it’s the turn of the drums. The company CRKD, recently known for its official Gibson Les Paul guitar for Xbox, has confirmed that it’s already working on a new drum set that will arrive in 2026, marking the return of this type of accessory after many years of absence.
According to information shared by the brand itself, the goal is to revive the classic experience of music games, betting on high-quality materials and compatibility with the most iconic titles in the genre. CRKD ensures that the new peripheral is designed to “get the band back together” with a new generation of hardware.
The new musical accessory for Xbox will arrive in 2026
Although no technical details or price have been revealed yet, CRKD’s drum kit will be available for Xbox consoles and will likely work via a wireless USB adapter, just like their current guitars. Everything points to it being compatible with titles like Rock Band 4, which remains fully functional on Xbox Series, and could even receive support in future musical experiences within the Xbox ecosystem.
For now, the company is keeping the details under wraps, but promises to share more information “when the time is right”. If it follows the line of its other peripherals, it’s likely to combine premium design, durable components, and total integration with the console.
