The new patch doesn’t introduce significant gameplay adjustments, but it does fix several critical errors that affected the daily experience. The most notable one is related to Ultimate Team mode stability, which had presented unexpected closures since the arrival of version 1.1.0.
Improvements included in the new EA Sports FC 26 update
-
Fix for stability issues in Ultimate Team after the previous patch.
-
Improved performance in menus, match-ups, and transitions between games.
-
General adjustments to improve reliability and online experience.
Although it’s a minor update, this version was necessary to correct the errors introduced by patch 1.1.0, released on October 23. That update was more ambitious and introduced changes to defense, passing, dribbling speed, and goalkeeper behavior, in addition to improving marking aggression after the initial kick-off.
