EA Sports FC 26 continues to refine details after its launch, and this week it has received a new update that takes the game to version 1.03. Just a week after the previous patch, EA Sports has implemented improvements focused on gameplay, Ultimate Team, and Career mode, as well as various performance and stability adjustments.

The main goal of this update is to refine defensive behavior and the accuracy of special shots, responding to player feedback during the first weeks of the title. Several minor errors that affected the overall experience have also been corrected.

New features in the latest EA Sports FC 26 update

• Improved defensive positioning at the start of the match.
  Teams now maintain a more compact structure after the initial kickoff, avoiding mismatches in the first seconds of play.

• Adjustment to the accuracy of acrobatic shots.
  The effectiveness of bicycles and other spectacular finishes has been reduced to balance the offensive system.

• Correction of errors in trivela shots.
  Some players were performing this shot unintentionally when aiming at the goalkeeper; the problem has been solved.

• Ultimate Team.
  A bug that displayed incorrect biographies on gold player cards has been fixed, which caused confusion when inspecting items.

• Career mode.
  Players will no longer complain about not receiving a contract extension if the renewal has already been completed.

• Physics and performance.
  Improvements to cloth physics, optimization of corner kicks, and greater overall stability during matches.

This version 1.03 is being deployed progressively on all platforms, including Xbox Series, PS5, and PC, and does not require any additional actions from the player. EA has ensured that it will continue to update the title with more adjustments in response to community reports.
