Borderlands 4 has just received a major update across all platforms. Among the most notable changes is the addition of field of view (FOV) adjustment on consoles, a feature highly requested by the community. From now on, Xbox and PlayStation players will be able to customize their camera’s field of view, although it’s warned that increasing it excessively may impact performance.
Additionally, the patch brings new weekly activities, stability improvements, corrected rewards, and adjustments to the abilities of the different classes.

Weekly Activities: new boss in the Big Encore, Wildcard mission rotation with guaranteed legendary drop, and a new location for Maurice’s vending machine.

Performance and Stability: fixed crashes, FPS drops, black screens on Xbox, and infinite loading during crossplay sessions.

Progression and Rewards: corrected errors with skill points, region discovery achievements, and chests with DLC items not acquired. Improved pack system and reward center.

Classes: adjustments to Harlowe the Gravitar, Amon the Forgeknight, Vex the Siren, and Rafa the Exo-Soldier’s abilities.

Gameplay: fixed mission progression issues, stuck enemies, and detection problems with attacks.

Weapons and Gear: balance changes to weapons like Hellwalker (+guaranteed fire damage) and improvements to Tediore gear, as well as corrections to class mods.

Interface and Visuals: improvements to menus, compass, equipment thumbnails, weapon effects, and ambientation.

Audio: corrections to radios, cut-off voices, and missing sound effects.
