Halo: The Master Chief Collection has just been updated on both Xbox consoles and PC, with special attention to those using the Microsoft Store version. The reason is significant: a critical issue affecting matchmaking in multiplayer has been fixed.
Although the solution is primarily intended for the PC version of Game Pass and the Microsoft Store, the download also applies to Xbox and Steam. However, players should note that the patch size varies greatly depending on the chosen platform.

A problem that prevented proper cross-platform matchmaking on PC via Xbox and the Microsoft Store has been resolved. Searches are now faster and more stable.
