The new adventure of Agent 007 was already on everyone’s radar, but now we’ve finally seen it in action. IO Interactive has shown the first gameplay of 007 First Light, confirming what many expected: a game that combines espionage, stealth, and explosive combat in a proposal that wants to pay homage to the saga while also forging its own path.

In this preview, we can see how phases of silent infiltration alternate with high-risk shootouts and heart-pumping chases. The feeling is that of being in front of a very cinematic experience, designed to make each mission a small spectacle full of tension and variety.

007 First Light arrives in March 2026 with a release on Xbox Series

The gameplay has also served to remind us that the game will arrive on March 27, 2026 on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, becoming the first official James Bond title developed as a modern AAA project.

In 007 First Light, we’ll control a young and inexperienced James Bond, a spy still in training and sometimes reckless, who faces the tough training program of MI6. IO Interactive has opted to offer freedom in each situation: you can use stealth, direct action, or a mix of both to overcome objectives.
