The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 now has an official release date and a closed list of platforms, but a key console is left out… at least for now. Although the 10-year agreement signed between Microsoft and Nintendo after the purchase of Activision ensured the arrival of the saga to consoles from the Japanese company, this new title will not be available at launch on Nintendo Switch 2.
The announcement comes just days before Gamescom 2025, where Activision will showcase the game in the Opening Night Live on August 19. That’s when pre-orders will open, both digital and physical, for the different editions that will arrive on Xbox and other platforms.
Release Date, Platforms, and Editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
- According to confirmed information, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be released on November 14, 2025 on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC. It will not be available on Nintendo Switch 2 at launch, and for now, there is no confirmation if a port will be made in the future.
- Unlike other recent announcements like Ninja Gaiden 4 or The Outer Worlds 2, which did not have a physical edition on Xbox at the time of their announcement (but may later), this new Call of Duty will have a physical copy with a disc on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5. In Europe, the recommended price will be €79.99.
