Many of us have been waiting for years for the saga to return, and it seems that moment is now closer than ever as it appears to be happening. One of the most anticipated details has already been revealed in the Xbox app: this new installment will allow online co-op play with up to four players, and yes, everything suggests that each player will control one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Additionally, the current game size on Xbox Series indicates that we’re looking at an initial build or placeholder: a mere 323.45 MB download. A figure that will likely increase as the release approaches, but confirms that something is moving after last Friday’s announcement.

In this new adventure, we’ll return to a devastated world filled with demonic creatures, but with a powerful twist: the possibility of playing as War, Death, Fury, and Strife, each with their unique style, weapons, and abilities. The combat system will combine melee attacks, supernatural abilities, and acrobatic movements, all with a very direct and visual approach.

• The game will reclaim the epic tone of the original trilogy, with open scenarios filled with secrets, colossal bosses, and puzzles scattered throughout the map. While it hasn’t been confirmed if we’ll be able to switch between characters in solo play or if it will be exclusive to co-op roles, we do know that there will be online multiplayer for 2-4 players and single-player mode.
