Xbox Game Pass will close July with one of its most notable releases. This Tuesday, July 29, Grounded 2 joins the service in Game Preview format, available from day one on Xbox Series, PC, and Cloud. We’re talking about one of the most anticipated cooperative sequels of the year, once again signed by Obsidian Entertainment.

In this new installment, we’re once again trapped in a gigantic garden, but the possibilities are expanded like never before. The building system, crafting, exploration, and survival evolve with new mechanics, such as insect riding, unseen biomes, and more aggressive enemies. All without losing that lighthearted, challenging, and unique tone that made the first Grounded an unexpected success.
Grounded 2 debuts with more biomes, mounts, and team challenges
As it’s a preliminary version, Grounded 2 will receive frequent updates over the next few months. However, from its launch, it already includes a large amount of new content: flying and land mounts, a deeper progression system, weather events that affect gameplay, and unseen creatures, including some dangerous mutations.
The gameplay structure continues to focus on cooperative mode for up to 4 players, with full integration between platforms. A perfect formula for immersing yourself with friends and discovering the hidden secrets among roots, under mushrooms, or on the highest branches.
The perfect return if you enjoyed the first one… or if it’s your first time
If you already played the first Grounded, this sequel represents a firm step towards a more ambitious, complete, and dynamic experience. And if you haven’t tried it yet, this release on Xbox Game Pass is an ideal opportunity to start from scratch with renewed content and a guaranteed future through updates.
The first version of Grounded 2 will be available starting tomorrow, July 29, for all subscribers to the service on console, PC, and cloud.
