The Xbox Game Pass catalog doesn’t rest, even in summer, and this week it has given us two releases that deserve to be explored with care. Each one offers a completely different experience, but both share a commitment to intensity and direct focus on the player: one through combat and dark atmosphere, and the other through speed and control.
Whether you’re looking to immerse yourself in a challenging world with an oriental flavor or prefer something more casual and competitive, the new Game Pass additions have what you need. Two new, fresh proposals that you can download this very weekend.
Two new Xbox Game Pass games to enjoy this weekend
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Available since July 24th
Xbox Series, PC, and Cloud
- Set in China’s Ming era, this action RPG puts us in the shoes of a warrior marked by a curse who must fight her way through monsters and supernatural horrors. With a style reminiscent of Sekiro or Lies of P, it offers challenging combat, dark atmosphere, and a deep progression system with skills and mutations. Already available on Game Pass.
Descenders NEXT
Available since July 25th
Xbox Series and PC (early access)
- This new installment of the downhill biking game arrives as a game in development under the early access format. It combines the adrenaline of snowboarding with the control of a mountain board in open, procedurally generated scenarios. It can be played solo or in multiplayer, and its physics, progression, and reputation system make it a very addictive proposal.
However, its creators are clear: it’s an unfinished product, so it’s only recommended if you accept its current state and want to participate in its evolution.
