MachineGames, known especially for their work on the latest installments of the Wolfenstein saga and currently part of Xbox Game Studios after Microsoft’s acquisition of ZeniMax, has made their 2024 financial statements public. The company has closed the year with solid results and appears particularly optimistic about what’s to come, both for the studio and the video game industry as a whole.
According to the official financial report, MachineGames is currently working on “new and exciting projects” that, although not yet revealed in detail, seem to go beyond the already known Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, launched in December 2024 for Xbox Series and PC.
MachineGames and its promising future under the Xbox umbrella
In the report, the studio highlights a positive vision of the future, emphasizing that they are developing projects that excite the team internally, and that they also believe will have a positive impact on the entire industry.
MachineGames was acquired by Microsoft as part of the ZeniMax Media group in March 2021, so the studio is fully integrated into Xbox Game Studios. This union has significantly strengthened their development capabilities and raised expectations about their upcoming releases.
For now, no specific details have been offered about the new projects, but given the studio’s history with iconic sagas, expectations remain high. We’ll be keeping an eye out for future updates to learn more about these titles and how they’ll impact the Xbox ecosystem.
