Black Desert Online kicks off July with a massive update that includes new playable content, seasonal events, and special promotions. The crown jewel of the announcement is the official debut of Wukong as the game’s 30th class, unveiled during the Heidel Ball 2025. Alongside him, a new seasonal aesthetic set and a limited-time free base game download campaign also arrive.
Wukong’s arrival has been one of the most anticipated additions by the community. This legendary character joins the world of Black Desert Online with a unique style based on oriental folklore and mechanics that promise to be as spectacular as they are challenging. All this is complemented by a summer offer that starts on July 3rd, allowing players to download the game for free and take advantage of discounts on several packages.
Wukong and the “Vacation” set now available in Black Desert Online
Wukong, also known as the Heir of the Victorious Buddha, is now available to all players. His combat style is based on the use of the Jingubang and the Gourd Bottle, while his awakening weapon is the powerful Jade Pillar, a brutal extension of his dominance on the battlefield. The movements inspired by the mythical Monkey King, his aerial mobility with the Flying Cloud, and his devastating abilities make him a very attractive option for both veterans and new players alike.
Additionally, the seasonal “Vacation” set arrives as part of the summer content. Available until August 27th, this outfit offers new summer designs, from swimsuits to silk suits for all classes. In the case of male characters, a shirtless version is even included. All aesthetic content can be acquired in the in-game store.

As part of the summer promotions, the base game of Black Desert Online can be downloaded for free from Steam until July 10th at 8:00 PM (Spanish mainland time). This is a great opportunity to start or return to the game, especially considering the arrival of Wukong and all the new content.
