Xbox continues to expand its Retro Classics initiative, a special selection within the Game Pass ecosystem that recovers historic titles from past decades. This week, the catalog has reached 55 available games, after the incorporation of five new titles, and the plan is to exceed the barrier of 100 soon.
These games are available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers and are part of an effort to preserve the legacy of video games, providing access to classic experiences without the need for old hardware, all from Xbox Series or PC. Additionally, tournaments and community challenges linked to this retro section have also been announced.

All these titles are within the Activision Blizzard or Sierra universe, with clear precedents in the current Game Pass catalog. Some, like The Lost Vikings or Warcraft, have even been officially re-released in recent compilations like Blizzard Arcade Collection, which would facilitate their integration.
Xbox has confirmed that the collection will continue to expand in the coming months, incorporating more classic licenses and new retro releases thanks to the agreement with Activision Blizzard. An initiative that keeps the history of video games alive and makes it accessible to everyone, without the need for old consoles.
