Bad news for Xbox players who were following this project closely. 1348 Ex Voto, the action-adventure game set in 14th-century Italy, will no longer be coming to Xbox Series. Its developers have confirmed that the Microsoft console version has been canceled, while the release is still on track for PlayStation 5 and PC.
The title will go on sale on March 12th on Steam and Epic Games Store, with a price of $24.99, according to publisher Dear Villagers and Italian studio Sedleo.
Why 1348 Ex Voto won’t be coming to Xbox Series
The Xbox Series version had been previously announced, but has ultimately been scrapped. The studio explains that the decision was made “to focus the team’s efforts on providing the best possible experience on PC and PlayStation”, a common justification in mid-sized projects seeking to ensure stability and quality on fewer platforms.
For now, there’s been no mention of the possibility of the Xbox Series version being revisited later, so it seems like a definitive cancellation.
